Hi there! This is the first of a few albums I'll be releasing this year. I've been sitting on around 50 songs from 2016 to now that I've been regretfully withholding due to perfectionism on my part. I always intended for these songs to have lyrics, and even have lyrics and melodies written. I just don't have it in me to record the sheer amount of takes to make it just right. The instrumentals were ready to go for the most part, but I always had a few albums laid out in my head. This is the first of many.

This album is specifically about a rough period in my early 20s that resulted in some difficult trauma I had to find my way through. Most of this was over close to 13 years ago, but I had always wanted to convey that time period through music. The concept of the songs may not be as clear without lyrics, but I think there are clues in places with samples and other things.

These songs were written & recorded between late 2016 through sometime in 2021. Most went through several versions and mixes. This current mix was made in January 2024 with new compression, EQ, and sequencing. I also included a few songs that weren't in the original planned release from around 2019.
